Grate Mate Outdoors thanks the North American Hunting Club Members for participating in the field test of the Quad Pod Campfire Grill. The Quad Pod was rated in Performance, Design, Ease of Use, Durability, Size, Quality, Appearance, and Price, as well as being rated against similar products.

The grill works well overall. It has a good bit of cooking space. I have a wife and 3 children and was able to cook all of our meal at the same time.
BEST FEATURE: Compact design, and easy to transport.
It makes a great conversation peace for entertaining. It’s easy and fun to use and has a nice case for storage.
BEST FEATURE: Easy to clean and it has a nice carrying case.
The Quad Pod Campfire Grill was used on multiple occasions by my local Boy Scout Troop. The product is durable and easy to use. The instructions were easy to use, but would suggest sewing an instruction label in the storage bag. (We will take that into consideration.)
At first I was skeptical about how this product worked. After using it only once, I quickly changed my mind. No more burned fingers moving the grate, and no more heavy grates. I am slightly concerned about how well it will hold up for the long haul, but for now it works great.
BEST FEATURE: Easily movable grate.
The Quad Pod Grill worked great. It was easy to assemble and was a great asset to our camping trip. It is a no brainier for serious campers.

I included this grill with my gear on a recent camping trip when we finally got to our camping spot and realized I’d forgotten my camp stove, I pulled out the grill and in 10 minutes we were cooking over an open fire. For 3 days we cooked all of out meals on it. I liked being able to easily adjust the cooking height and find the right spot to cook at, even down to the last coal. The cooking space is perfect to keep a pot of coffee hot, cook bacon and eggs in one skillet and pancakes in another at the same time! But be sure to level the grill before cooking on it- it helps in many ways. (We also recommend that.)
Nice design-adjustable platform help to cook to perfection. Easy clean up.
The grill worked great. The ability to adjust the height of the cooking platform really made finding the right temperature easy. The grill was fairly easy to setup, about 3 min. including time to recheck the directions. The carrying case and ability to fold down made transportation of the grill easy enough for a small child to carry. I was able to have two skillets and two large pots cooking at the same time.
BEST FEATURE: Ability to raise and lower cooking platform easily.
